Institute FAQ

Frequently asked questions about our executive programmes

Answers for C-suite executives, directors, and corporate learning teams evaluating Executive AI Institute for 2026 enrolment.

Does Executive AI Institute award an accredited university degree?

No — not unless we explicitly state a lawful awarding body on your signed enrolment documents. Executive AI Institute offers executive AI programmes and completion certificates for senior leaders in Singapore and the region. Our brand name includes "Institute" to reflect institutional seminar delivery; we are not a degree-granting university, not a medical research institute, and not a substitute for accredited academic qualifications. Certificates attest to training participation and, where modules include assessment, satisfactory completion of institute coursework. Employers and professional bodies should evaluate credentials on their merits rather than assuming university equivalence.

Who should enrol — what seniority level is required?

Programmes target C-suite executives, board members, directors, VPs, and heads of function with budget or governance authority over AI initiatives. We occasionally admit senior managers sponsored by their EXCO for succession planning. The curriculum assumes corporate decision-making experience, not programming skill.

Are modules delivered online, in-person, or hybrid?

Most 2026 modules are in-person at our Cecil Street campus to maximise peer discussion quality. Selected briefings offer hybrid attendance for regional executives flying into Singapore. Module 2 includes one virtual day plus two campus days. Detailed schedules appear in prospectus documents shared after enquiry.

What is the typical cohort size?

Open cohorts range from eighteen to twenty-four senior leaders. Corporate in-house programmes start at twelve participants. We cap enrolment to preserve seminar intimacy and ensure every executive receives faculty feedback during case discussions.

How does corporate pricing work?

Corporate engagements are quoted in SGD exclusive of GST where applicable. In-house programmes include faculty facilitation, printed materials, and campus logistics. Volume discounts may apply when booking three or more modules within a financial year. Request a formal quotation through our contact form for procurement records.

What is your refund and transfer policy?

Cancellations more than twenty-one days before module start receive an eighty percent fee credit toward a future cohort. Within twenty-one days, fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to a colleague at the same seniority band subject to institute approval. Corporate contracts follow separately negotiated terms stated on invoices.

How do you handle personal data under PDPA?

We collect enrolment details, billing information, and attendance records for legitimate education purposes. Data is stored on Singapore-hosted infrastructure with access restricted to authorised staff. See our privacy notice for retention periods, individual rights, and PDPC contact guidance. Marketing emails require explicit opt-in.

What programmes do you NOT offer?

We do not run coding bootcamps, day-trading courses, crypto investment seminars, or guaranteed promotion packages. We do not promise specific salary increases, board seats, or career outcomes. Our focus remains AI strategy, generative AI governance, and responsible AI leadership for corporate decision-makers.

How are AI tools used during class?

Facilitators demonstrate ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude in controlled environments with synthetic or anonymised case data. Participants may be asked to experiment during exercises but must not input confidential employer information without prior clearance. AI outputs may contain errors — we teach executives to verify claims independently.

Can I attend a single module without the full curriculum arc?

Yes. Modules one through five may be taken independently, though the capstone requires prior institute modules or equivalent experience assessed on application. Many directors begin with Module two or four depending on whether their immediate priority is generative AI governance or board compliance literacy.

Our institute programmes develop applied AI leadership competence for top management. Completion certificates document seminar participation unless a lawfully accredited credential is named in writing. We make no promise of promotion, remuneration uplift, board placement, or predetermined career results. Demonstrations of generative AI and enterprise tools may be imperfect — strategic choices remain the responsibility of qualified human judgement.
